Investment Strategy

Primary objective is to provide current income utilizing a strategy of buying stocks and simultaneous writing call options against them (also known as the "Buy Write" strategy).
Secondary objective is to invest in value stocks for capital appreciation.

Two major benefits of the portfolio are the ability to generate income (via the premiuims earned on the calls and the dividends) and to limit overall portfolio volatility.
Most stocks contained in the portfolio pay dividends, generating additional income.
The portfolio consists of well-known companies spammomg the market capitalization range.
In an attempt to limit the volatility of the portfolio, a higher level of cash can be held (up to 50%) if conditions warrant.
